Making Contact

|
I have joined Model Mayhem to start networking, I have got in contact with a stylist and two models.

I have contacted people whos usual style isn't like the images I want to create, I did this as it would be something new for their portfolios and make them more interested in helping in my shoot.

America's Next Top Model- Homeless Shoot

|

I really like the styling in these shots the glamourous clothing contrasting the run down rough area. This would be a look I would like to achieve in my own work however I only want to use one model. The problem I have with this shoot is that all the models are wearing the same clothing and all use very similar poses through out the shoot. I would have models in different outfits or change something subtle such as take a jacket off, take the fur away etc.
~I need to find a stylist to help me source clothing and locations

If I was to do the shoot related to an asylum I pictured using extreamly big curly hair - clownish? this would give the appearence of an unkempt person who doesn't care about their appearance. Prehaps have the model wearing clothing that is very mixmatched in colours and textures with towering heels that enhances the unstable appearance. This shoot would ideally be on location, and would be a summery look.

If I do the Homeless shoot I would go for a very grungy dark clothing look, but have quite glamourous hair nd make up to say that it can happen to anyone. The clothing would be very layered, featuring knitwear, leggings, leg warmers, fingerless gloves. This shoot would be more autumn winter based. It would work on location; in an ally way or on a dark side street or in a a shop doorway. Alternatively it could work in the studio with cardboard boxes and news papers on a dark background.

Home - Institute, Asylum- Models looking slightly out of it, big hair, dangerous look,
- Homeless fashion - focus on not having a home
